Position Overview
The Mission Home Attendant plays a key role in supporting Church mission facilities by ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and smooth day-to-day household operations. The role involves housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and occasional childcare support, all performed in a respectful and spiritually appropriate setting.
The position works under the supervision of the Facility Manager and in coordination with the Mission President or the Mission President’s spouse. Duties may vary depending on events, visitors, and household needs.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Facility Care
Clean kitchens, floors, bathrooms, and common areas
Change linens, dust furniture, and remove waste
Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment
Meal Preparation Support
Assist with preparing meals for visitors, missionaries, and meetings
Support kitchen setup and cleanup during events
Laundry Services
Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens as required
Childcare Assistance
Provide childcare support when requested by mission leadership
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Mission President or spouse
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be worthy of holding a Temple Recommend
Domestic care or housekeeping experience is an advantage
No specialized training required – entry-level candidates are welcome
Homemakers or individuals with household management experience are encouraged to apply
