Role Overview
The Graphic Designer will play a central role in creating high-quality visual content for Zuba House and its partners. This includes both static and video content, supporting marketing campaigns, social media, branding initiatives, and overall creative projects.
This is a fully remote contract position, but candidates must have the ability to operate efficiently online and be able to sign the contract physically in Kigali.
Key Responsibilities
Design visually engaging graphics for Zuba House and partner brands
Create content for social media campaigns, marketing materials, and branding
Produce both static designs and video assets
Collaborate closely with internal teams to conceptualize and execute creative ideas
Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and campaigns
Submit weekly progress reports and adhere to project timelines
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design
Strong portfolio showcasing both graphic and video design skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience with video design/editing tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent)
Highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Reliable internet connection and ownership of a professional design laptop/equipment
Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or related fields
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience working with multiple brands or partner companies
Strong understanding of brand consistency across digital platforms
Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote work environment
Work Arrangement
Fully remote role with operational presence in Kigali for contract signing
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Kigali time
Weekly progress reports submitted every Saturday
Availability for virtual and in-person interviews as required
