Position Summary: Accountant / Finance Officer
The Accountant / Finance Officer will support the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, effective cash management, compliance with tax regulations, and timely financial reporting. The role is ideal for finance professionals seeking growth within a dynamic real estate development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Payments & Cash Management
Assist in processing payments, reimbursements, and petty cash management.
Monitor cash flow and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Tax & Audit Support
Support tax declarations, filings, and statutory compliance.
Assist during internal and external audits by preparing required financial documents.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and maintain financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Finance & Accounting.
Experience
Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Outstanding fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Willingness to learn Chinese (Chinese language training will be provided).
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a professional, multicultural environment.
University Preference
Priority will be given to candidates from University of Rwanda and African Leadership University (ALU).
However, exceptional candidates from other institutions are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary
300,000 – 600,000 RWF per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
